Anne-Katrin PFISTER is Programme Officer for the Competitiveness and Development Programme at ICTSD. Her expertise are in international trade negotiations, least developed country (LDC) policies and processes in the WTO and UN context, and Aid for Trade effectiveness measurement at macro and micro level. She is responsible for the development and implementation of research and capacity building projects related to her field of work. Before joining ICTSD she worked at the European Parliament in Brussels, the German Embassy to the Republic of South Africa in Pretoria, and competed in professional sailing for the Olympics (2008). Ms. Pfister earned a Master of Science in International Public Policy at University College London, UCL, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law from the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany. Ms. Pfister joined ICTSD in September 2010. She is a citizen of Germany.
