Kiranne Dévi GUDDOY is Managing Editor, Bridges Africa. Covering trade and economic issues of concern to African, Bridges Africa provides Africa related news, analysis, and views from key policymakers and influencers at the national, regional and multilateral levels – all from a sustainable development perspective.
In 2006 she worked as a legal consultant for the UNESCO in Senegal. She set up the legal framework for a multi donor fund to support an Education Initiative funded by the World Bank. In 2007 she joined the French embassy in Bangladesh as the economic attaché - French Trade Commission - where she helped leading French companies materialize projects worth multi million dollars in various sector such as energy, infrastructure, transport etc. She also started up a social venture in India before joining ICTSD. She holds a bachelor degree in International Law with a focus on international economic law and a double master’s degree in Economics (forecasting tools) and Development Program Management from schools in Paris.
She hold both French and Mauritian nationalities and is originally from India.
