Perla BUENROSTRO RODRIGUEZ is Managing Editor of Puentes. She earned a Master’s Degree in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and a Bachelors of Law from the Instituto Technologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico (summa cum laude).
Ms. Buenrostro has previously worked at the Missions of Mexico and Chile to the World Trade Organization (WTO), at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and more recently at the Environmental and Climate Change practice of Baker & McKenzie in Mexico City. Perla has also acted as a researcher and Assistant Editor in the Centre for International Economic Law of the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de México.
Ms. Buenrostro joined ICTSD in 2008, where she started as Assistant Editor of Puentes and became Managing Editor in 2009. She is a Mexican citizen.
