Randall ARCE ALVARADO is PUENTES editor. Mr. Arce has a Master degree in Economic Growth and International Trade from the Universidad de Chile. Currently, he is a PhD Candidate at the Product Design and Quality Management Group, Wageningen University, the Netherlands. He is also the Director of the Graduate Studies Program at International Centre of Economic Policy for Sustainable Development (CINPE) at Universidad Nacional (UNA) of Costa Rica, and acting professor in trade policy, trade and environment and international trade issues.
He works on the Trade and Environment research group at CINPE since 1997. He has contributed on studies related to trade and environment for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and the Organization of American States (OAS). Mr. Arce has recently specialized on issues regarding product quality on international markets and restriction raised by the governance structures.
He is citizen of Costa Rica.
