Andrew CROSBY is ICTSD’s Managing Director for Operations and Strategy. Mr Crosby rejoined ICTSD in 2009. He was ICTSD’s first Programmes Director, from 1997 to 2002 where he helped establish ICTSD as a globally recognized leader on trade and sustainable development issues. With a background in strategic communications, politics, and management, Mr. Crosby was a founder of the American Political Network in 1988 which produced, The Hotline, the first national daily journal on US politics. He has conducted research for corporations and NGOs to guide political and market strategy, and fundraising. From 2002 to 2009 he was the managing editor of the Nonprofit Quarterly, a field-based journal dedicated to strengthened management practice in nonprofit organizations. He earned a Master in Public Administration from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and a BA in Political Science and Art History from New York University. He is citizen of the United States of America.
