Ingrid JEGOU is ICTSD’s Senior Programme Officer on Competitiveness, Development and Climate Change. Ms. Jegou earned a Master of Economics from the Lund University in Sweden and attended as an Erasmus scholar at the Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV in France. She has a diploma in advanced knowledge of French from the Institut des Etudiants Etrangers, Montpellier, France. Ms. Jegou has worked as a Senior Adviser and a Senior Economist at the Swedish National Board of Trade in Stockholm, dealing with issues related to trade, sustainable development and climate change. Before that, she served as an analyst at the National Board of Trade, specializing in trade and development, with a particular focus on WTO. She has also worked as an analyst for the Swedish Institute for Food and Agricultural Economics, where she conducted research in the area of international trade in agricultural goods. Ms Jegou has also fulfilled an internship at the European Commission, dealing with negotiations on the European scheme for import of bananas. She is a Swedish citizen.
