Jonathan HEPBURN is Programme Manager for Agriculture at ICTSD, where he has worked on farmers’ livelihoods and food security, subsidy reform, developing country exports and climate change, as well as working on ICTSD’s series of country studies assessing the impact of the WTO Doha Round.
Before joining ICTSD in 2006, he was Oxfam International’s representative to the World Bank and IMF in Washington D.C., and also led Oxfam’s global campaign on aid, debt and the Millennium Development Goals. Previously, he worked on trade, development and human rights issues with the Quaker United Nations Office in Geneva. He has written on various trade and public policy issues, including on development financing, intellectual property rules, and food, agriculture and biodiversity.
