Perla BUENROSTRO works as Managing Editor, Puentes. She earned a Master’s Degree in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies (HEI), Geneva, and a Bachelor of Law from the Instituto Technologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). Perla has been working on international trade law since her arrival to Geneva in 2003. She completed an internship programme in the Mission of Mexico to the World Trade Organization (WTO), and then acted as Legal Advisor in the Mission of Chile to the WTO from 2003 to 2006. Perla also worked in the Investment Division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in 2007. Since 2008 she has been working in ICTSD, first as Assistant Editor, and then as Editor and coordinator of Puentes publications. Perla currently works remotely from Mexico City, where she also acts as researcher in the Centre for International Economic Law of the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, which holds the WTO Chair. She is a Mexican citizen.
