The World Ocean Council, an international business leadership alliance on ocean sustainability and stewardship, has created the Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS) in order to catalyse the growing interest among ocean businesses for more effective leadership and collaboration in addressing ocean environmental challenges. It will bring together a wide range of international industries that use marine space and resources to consider major ocean policy developments and sustainability challenges affecting the future of responsible commercial activities in the seas.
