ICTSD Activities at UNFCCC COP 18

26th November – 7th December 2012

ICTSD will support the negotiations of the UNFCCC during COP 18 with a team of experts present in Doha, with the aim of ensuring that policies in the field of climate change and trade effectively contribute to sustainable development.

This year, ICTSD will host a series of targeted Dialogues, focusing on some of the most salient issues in the intersection between trade and climate change. In particular, the events will highlight the need to develop and transfer low carbon technologies for effective climate change mitigation and the role of trade in this regard.
