Conference Service Volunteers

The International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), an independent non-profit and non-governmental organization contributing to a better understanding of development and environment concerns in the context of international trade, seeks to recruit eight (8) volunteers to support our mission during the Geneva Trade and Development Symposium (GTDS) to be held in conjunction with the Seventh Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), in Geneva from the 26th November to 2nd December. The volunteers will serve as:
Conference Service Volunteers
A great opportunity to be present and involved in an high level international conference addressing some of the most pressing issues of the global trading system. The work requires excellent organizational skills, meeting room organization, knowledge of protocol and diplomatic procedures, English working knowledge, and ability to multi-task and show particular attention to detail. In particular the work will entitle, taking care of the following:
- Lights and sound monitoring
- Downloading speakers power point presentations
- Setting up of the rooms
- Technical oversight
- Room runners
