The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the European Patent Office (EPO) and the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) will be presenting their joint study on patents and clean energy technologies at a side event at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen on 18th December (11.00-12:30), Room Liva Weel, Bella Center, Center Boulevard, 2300 Copenhagen.  The three institutions have conducted a study analysing and collating data on patents and the development and transfer of clean energy technologies. The methodology of the project and first findings will be presented at this side event. The final report will be issued in spring 2010.
