Poverty alleviation, the need to guarantee food security and the twin challenges of climate change mitigation and adaptation have emerged as important interlinked issues that need to be addressed in a coordinated and coherent manner at the international level. To help address these concerns, ICTSD and IPC have therefore established an interdisciplinary panel of experts, the ICTSD-IPC Global Platform on Climate Change, Agriculture and Trade. ICTSD is also conducting research and facilitating dialogue on biofuels: recent publications are available here.
